Rose Cottage Tea Garden - Symonds Yat

This is my fourth time here in a few years. best skorone tee and cream! love the sandwiches here and the location also! love the polka dotted tables and the very friendly hostess! it is a good place to observe the flow and wind down with hot dips or a pot tee! the hot chocolate I tried this time was fantastic! with something hazelnut! perfect for autumn.

Lovely tea garden. Great selection of cakes. They do a brilliant Cream tea! Terrace is overlooking the river Wye at one of the most beautiful places, very conveniently situated just opposite the hand drawn ferry to Symonds Yat West at the other bank of the river. Friendly staff as well!

It's set in a lovely area which gets really busy at the weekends, the service was spot on and the scones we ordered was gorgeous. The price seems to be relevent to all of the other places around, but still wasn't that bad. Shame there wasn't a option for tea leaves but that's a bit finicky on my behalf.

I understand that the tearoom was flooded during the winter and is still not open. When i called to book the lady on the phone was so very helpful and nice that i am sure i will go there when it is open and that it will be a good experience. Pleasant and helpful service and i hope things go well.

We have just had a delicious afternoon tea for two at Rose Cottage Tea Rooms. One gluten free scone and one normal fruit scone, both yummy! Superb service with amazing views.
