Luckily another lady came along and led us to the front of the restaurant and all went smoothly from then. 3 sweet and one savoury crepe were ordered. Considering the place was full, they all came out quickly and were enjoyed with a glass of champagne. These are large servings and were classified as a single, there was also a double option. I would certainly go back, they were light but full of ingredients as chosen, certainly enough Nutella even for a chocolate fanatic! Suitable for kids - Definitely, so many delicious options for them to choose from, who wouldn't enjoy a treat like this!
Decent crepes at reasonable prices near Circular Quay. Landed in Sydney on a Tuesday morning and my colleagues and I went here for breakfast. The ambience was quite modern with a hint of contemporary french café through the use of colours and themes. There was a large selection of savoury and sweet crepes available. The crepes were cooked well, nice and thin and crispy. I tried the spinach, feta, mushroom and avocado which was delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the set combination of flavours on the menu were good, however you do have the option to mix and match to your own preference. One of my colleagues ordered the butter, sugar and lemon which was a bit disappointing as the crepe was drenched in lemon juice. Overall, enjoyed the experience here and will be back to try more.
Nice ambience. Warm place to sit on a cold day! Seating area away from service area which made it feel quiet. Good place to sit inside watching the world go by. However, coffee not so great. Order was mixed up. Coffee not hot enough - probably due to the mugs - very thick and with tiny handle!
I got the Savoury Galette. Chicken, swiss cheese, mushroom, egg, parsley sauce and garlic and 2 coffee lattes. My friend got the butter and sugar crepe and tea. Firstly, the location of this restaurant is convenient close to the station, shops and opera house. However, food was average and service wasn't that good. I found a hair in my Galette which put me off and lose my appetite. The taste of the parsley sauce was too overpowering. Basil pesto would be a better combo with it. Great coffee, hence i had two. My friend's teapot was broken and leaking so she had to request for a new one. Still gave them a tip despite the circumstances, felt I was forced to. Overall, venue and coffee was nice but would not go back for my second time.
After eating some birthday dinner offerings, my friends and I sought out for some dessert, as per usual. One of my friends told me about a new building filled with restaurants in Circular Quay and we all agreed to check it out. Located inside the Gateway Mall, this is one of the shops that offer desserts and we just had to try their crepes. My husband and I shared the dish we ordered but, we each ordered our own coffee. Crepe had more than enough toppings and filling and the coffee was standard. Service was a bit slow and they kept serving us food and drinks which, they have already served. Managing their ticket orders were probably an issue. Overall, the dining experience was good. This place is a good hangout spot to chat with friends over dessert and coffee.
