Sainsburys Swindon

From entering the restaurant to getting our food was 40 mins. Not enough staff, nobody in a hurry. Stirring sticks and ketchup had run out. People, like us, just sitting waiting. Our breakfasts were under-whelming when they arrived. Egg leathery, the meal was certainly not HOT. Toast was soggy. Baked beans were good! When we tried to clear away as required, there was no room on the trolley . People had stacked their trays on tables, chairs etc. Sainsbury 's really need to sort this out. We will try somewhere else next time.

We decided to breakfast here one Sunday, instead of our usual, because it was close to B&M. It was worth the trip, and we might do it again if the opportunity arises. Good: Power points with USB sockets at each table Comfortable booths Good baked beans, with a thick but minimal sauce Can get filter coffee, which seems hard to find nowadays Bad: Uncomfortable chairs (we moved to a booth) Prices are much higher than posted online It’s cold. No matter where you sit, you will get a breeze from the main doors opening as customers enter Most of the posters have grammatical errors

We visited the cafe at 10.30am, there was signage everywhere saying breakfast was until 11.30am so it was a shame to see a grumpy lady from the kitchen approach the lady at the tills at 10:45am and tell her to stop taking breakfast orders, it was not even busy. She then also said, there's no bacon left either so they will have to have sausages, oh and we are out of mushrooms. The cafe is within sainsburys.... breaking news..they stock bacon and mushrooms in there! it's not rocket science. Tables were not cleaned at all the whole time we were present, food was average at best and there was no brown sauce. Stock control and service are key points to be addressed here.

Cheap fish, tinned soggy peas, poor quality chips. Eggs over cooked. Restaurant has gone down hill massively, it’s really quiet in here and I can see why. We won’t be coming back.

I stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday and found the staff to be very friendly. My food arrived within 3 minutes of ordering, and they even included an extra hash brown that was originally left off. The restaurant was very clean and organized, and the breakfast was of good quality at a reasonable price.
