Delhi 6 - Sutton Coldfield

I have been supporting local Indian restaurants for about 30 years. no special reason why I have not tried delhi 6 until tonight, except perhaps the perception they were a bit expensive. what a refreshing change. no exorbitant levies and eating, and I stayed with my usual benchmark dishes of their equivalent, tandoori king prawn and huhn tikka jalfrezi was delicious. the poppadum is so light and not greasy. overall I have to say that it was excellent, so again the next Friday. delicious.

What the quality of food goes, I can not mistake delhi 6 it is really first class and it has a good varied menu. no problems with service I would say functionally in the opposite to the recording, but I am ok with that .don not several visits on the table to ask if everything is in order with the food. costly as well as 3 courses for 2 a bottle of wine for £70 I think is good - especially given the quality of food. the location is good when they drive, but more difficult when in a taxi. XO lounge was closed when we left, so there was no cash for a drink before or after. we also had problems with uber, as they could not find us despite the use of the restaurant name but that do not distract what is a good restaurant that is definitely worth visiting

Great food. ridizule prices for drinks! the service was good. clean and good decoration. food presentation of a good standard. the food is well recommended but. £34.00 for 4 cobra beer is excessive in each part of the united kingdom.

We previously visited the week and were very satisfied with eating and service, but Saturdays are significantly different with a full, very loud, restaurant. very warm and stuffy with condensation runs down the windows. also our clothes still melted by curry the next day and needed washing. they must significantly improve the air circulation. service was slow with the need to hunt the waiter several times, although expensive, was very good. I had actually intended to recommend a few courts, but when I tried the (handwritten) bill of the waiter snapped it out of my hand and offered a VAT reception for the entire table bill if I wanted to behave a reception very strange. they would visit again, but not on a Saturday night.

Excellent in all respects. Food delicious with each dish having very different distinctive flavours. Not always the case in Asian restaurants. Great good humoured service and good value for money. Thoroughly recommended and a pity we don’t live closer.
