Chris's Cafe - Sutton

I should have been here before but it is a bit tricky to park nearby. Make the effort though because this lovely cafe is clean and bright, the staff lovely, and most importantly thefood is great. I had a ham and cheese omelette and chips that was the best I have ever had. A nice juicy omelette, not dry, with lovely chips. My only comment, that is NOT a criticism really, is that the portions are rather large, and since I hate to see waste I had to sleep it off all afternoon. Thanks

The price of the food , did not match the quantity of food that was received. The staff are friendly , only because their know they are quids in when you come to pay.

I went to this restaurant today with some colleagues for lunch. It was my first time visiting and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, with generous portions, well-cooked, and delicious. The cafe itself is clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. I have been going to Chris's cafe for the last 4 years and I can definitely say that is one of the best places in the area to enjoy a proper English breakfast. The food is top quality and the portions are huge, you can never walk out of Chris's cafe with an empty belly. The place is bright and clean and the staff have always been lovely and cheerful, they definitely add up to the friendliness of the place. Chris is a very nice person and you can definitely tell that he has put a lot of effort and passion to give the cafe a personal touch. I definitely recommend the place and I advise everyone to go and try the food for themselves.
