The White Horse - Surry Hills

I'm here on Saturday night for dinner and drink with friends. I had the chicken carving with spen and gravy. the chicken was well cooked and juicy. chips were delicious and well salted. I also enjoyed the engraving, but could have had more 2 extra). I would visit this place again, as there was a great selection of food on the menu and boutique brewery beer in the offer.

We went here after we saw a picture on instagram that they literally had a day after the picture, but were super disappointed that they had none when we were there. They did not remember to have the beer although the picture was shown.Anyway, the service was good and we were happy enough to try something else so 4 out of 5 is good enough to give this young. would go and visit again in any case. In a beautiful situation and the prices were fairly fair.

Friends enjoyed drinks and lunch at The Horse (formerly The White Horse) in Surry Hills on our way to a Rugby test today. A fabulous Royal With Cheese hamburger and fries was amazing, washed down with a glass of Pino Grigio for me and a beer for my man. Helpful staff, a good atmosphere, prompt service made for a very good afternoon. However, on return after the game, the place was packed to the rafters.

Great value and best if sharing. The Chicken is amazing with a great variety of hot and cold sides. If you brave, go the mach and cheese with fries- Card overload but soooooo worth it

Chicken and Sons Surry Hills​ is a Sydney institution of chicken and burgers. Chef Adam​ is truly a Sydney Chef/ Burger personality and his fine dining background adds a level of nuance that elevates the venues from the norm. If you live in Surry Hills or don’t mind some travel hit them up for the roast dinner on a Sunday and if you like decent burgs then get to any of their locations stat!
