Przekaż informację zwrotnąI ordered a goat biryani to go. I find the rice so dry and hardly is mixed with a spice. I felt like I ordered a white rice with some goat meat. Mind you it said extra spicy in the menu. I was disappointed. I usually order from paradise Briyani in Santa Clara but they were closed and decided to give this place a try. Comparing it with paradise, Sankrati definitely give you more goat meat and give you a full egg with it but I wish if it had more sauce mixed with the rice. It was too dry and blunt. The south chai tea is great tho. Hope you find this review helpful
I visited in the afternoon. It was crowded and they charged around $20 per plate. The buffet offered a lot of south Indian variety cuisine to choose from. The food was hot and fresh but very spicy. There were many beverage options, including beer and wine, so I could drink as much as I wanted. However, with buffet, I lost track of portion sizes and ate soo much that I felt like a balloon. Not sure if it was because of overeating or the additives they might add to prevent few high capacity people from gobbling up the entire inventory and still make a profit.
Was recommended by a friend and the food was great. I had the chicken biryani and the spices and flavors were great and the service was very welcome and generous. Definitely a must stop if in the areaVegetarian options: Plenty of options for all vegetarian friend was pleased.
We ordered gongura chicken biriyani. It wasnt an authentic biriyani. It was basically rice over gongura chicken gravy. It was very watery and the gongura curry was spicy as it wasnt cooked like a biriyani at all.Food: 1/5
Sankrati was one of the best I've been to in the South Bay! I went on a Wednesday night and luckily there was no wait so we were seated immediately. The menu had a great variety of items which was nice for people who are always looking to try familiar and new Indian items. My friends and I ordered the naan tray, butter chicken, chicken tikka masa, myosoor banda, chicken biryani, trinon vegetable biryani. What we ordered can easily feed 6 people so my group of 4 definitely over ordered. I also ordered a mango lassi and that was definitely fresh and refreshing for a hot summer day.My favorite item had to be the butter chicken since it was so flavorful and so smooth to taste; might I even say it's the best butter chicken I tried! The chicken biryani was also very flavorful and I loved the yogurt sauce that it came with. The trinon non vegetable biryani was yummy but it was spicier than the chicken biryani so if you love spice, this ones for you. They did forget about one of our dishes and it even made me forget that we ordered a second biryani but other than that, great Indian food for a solid price.
