Arby's - Sunnyvale

I got the MEATS! Beef n Cheddar and a Buffalo Slider, and some curly fries. Yeah baby! The two Arby's nearest where I work have closed: boo, hiss. But this one is still open: Yaay! Don't come here as often as I like, but that just makes me miss itmore when I finally do get back. Good lunch!

This Arby's location needs to be remodeled and is one of the last in the area. If they change the lighting and do some housekeeping it wouldn't look so old. I wish Arby's would build some new locations around the bay but it cost to much to buildhere.

I found this restaurant in a great location on a bustling street, with plenty of parking available. There's even a Safeway in the same lot, which is convenient. I didn’t have a long wait at the drive-thru. However, the person taking my order was a bit difficult to hear, and I had to repeat myself a couple of times before he understood what I wanted. On the bright side, the food was just what you expect from Arby’s and delicious as always. You can’t go wrong with their roast beef and cheese sauce. The prices have remained consistent; I remember the 2 for $6 deal from way back. Overall, it’s a solid place, and I’ll definitely be back, especially since it’s only about a mile from my home.

The nearest Arby's is nearly 20 miles away, so when I found myself nearby, I took the opportunity to indulge. There are so few locations around; it's been four years since my last visit. The roast beef sandwiches are still fantastic! I even bought some extra to take home for the next few days. They're delicious! Sure, it’s fast food, but it's a nice change from the usual burgers and fried chicken. I really wish there was one closer to me!

If I had to pick between fast food chains like McDonald's, Taco Bell, Jack in the Box, and Burger Bing, I'd have more confidence in the meat quality at Arby's and Wendy's. However, A) that's not saying much, B) I find their food to be quite salty, and C) while their deals are better than those of other places, I prefer my burgers with plenty of vegetables. I do believe they deserve a higher rating than 3.7 stars, though.
