Sonic is essentially a fast food spot. One should not be 1) waiting 20-60 minutesfor food 2) not being communicated with or updated if there is a delay for some reason?or better yet just ley me know there isan expected wait before I order. I literally could have driven to Summerville sonic ate and came back? instead i made an ordertwice and opted to just drive off because I am now irritated and more hungry than when I pulled up. No this isn?t the firsttime. And you can see from the reviews this is a reoccurring problem. When the one black queen isn?t at that location it becomesa whole different restaurant. Idk if she?s the owner, manager or what?but just promote her and send her to a better store. Iwatched several ppl drive off without getting an order. Ive gotten burritos that are not filled fully much less half way. Dontget me wrong the employees in general seem nice. But that?s not compensating for service. Thank you to the young black man thattried to help but my whole day was thrown off and i got tired of waiting. He was already taking my order after whoever took itbefore. I got food served to me at a dine in restaurant in the time it took to type this. Do better. Also put numbers of thestall where im ordering if I am going to have to guess which stall I am at for you and block off ones that are giving youtrouble for the day.
Up all night with food poisoning. Sonic has gone downhill over the past couple of months. There are a few great workers but after tonight I will probably never go back.
Sonic was great! Polite order taker, quick order delivery and pleasant delivery carhop! They can sometimes take longer. They now allow you the option to tip with your card! We never plan to stop at Sonic and we usually don't carry cash so now we don't haveto feel bad for not being able to tip due to not having cash or the option with a card. I hope this allows them to keep staff.
Updating review 8/24/22 to show that this gentleman refused to ring up the morning drink cost. I even showed him on the receipt that it said 11am beverage, not the morning one. He refused to change it and snatched the receipt back from me. Then I get home,and my drinks are full of some nasty particles. Please see photo for person and drink in question. I get sweet tea everymorning on my way to work. Recently moved closer to this Sonic. Half the time I 've tried to go there, they didn 't even have tea(that I was told anyway). Then this morning I get my tea, it has bleach in it and makes me vomit. I work in primary care and canbe seen at work. I called the manager to let him know. All I got was I 'll make a new one. Thanks . No, do you need anotherdrink? Are you okay? I 'm so sorry. An awful experience with management. I really hope the DM, RM, or corporate sees this so theycan be aware. Having bleach in your drink is a major safety hazard!
I would've given 5 stars if they could be a bit more attentive to the drive thru aspect during the evening. I get that it's hectic but it's insane how a wait could take 35 to 40 minutes and completely not answer the menu board or even bother to come upto the cars to ask if we needed any help. Sometimes be aware that the corn dogs aren't always cooked through, because they'rerushing everything at that time. I had mushy batter and an uncooked hotdog inside. They run out of tots alot as well, and thesonic blast machine never works whenever I ask.
