Crown & Anchor Lounge - Summerside

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and the customer service is outstanding.

The fisherman's platter is delicious and offers great value for the price of $19.

Nothing special, chicken cordon bleau breaded pre made, not different from what you buy in a box. Cobbs salad very oily. Meals not anything special. The garlic toast was really good, The decor old, outdated and in need of repair. Disinterested waitress, and bartender obviously out of his league trying to operate cordless credit card terminal.

We were staying at another hotel but the Crown & Anchor, located at the Loyalist Country Inn showed up on line. Our dinners were very good. Portions are large. Beer selection is good. Best of all was the sense of humor and good service from our server Peter. Very cool experience all the way around.

We had lunch in the bar. It is notable that this restaurant serves a lobster dinner along with other options, I have come to realize that this is not easy to find on this island. The lobster roll was huge - an oversized Kaiser roll and very tasty. The chicken Quesidilla was also a large portion and very tasty. Service was attentive and the food arrived quickly.
