Slaughter's Bbq Oasis - Sulphur Springs

Drive from Dallas and they did not disappoint! Brisket, sausage, and turkey were perfection! Jalapeño slaw and charro beans were a great accompaniment to the BBQ! Come early because this deliciousness will run out!

Have used for several gatherings of 25+. Food (BBQ pork, brisket, sausage, beans and cole slaw, etc). is always always moist and delicious Everyone (all native Texans and picky about BBQ) raves about the food. Highly recommend.

The street tacos were delicious today. These young chefs can cook anything. Just look at her go.

A must-visit restaurant! The Texas BBQ is amazing and we have been eating it for decades. It is conveniently located just a mile off the highway. Make sure to arrive before 2pm as they tend to run out of food or close around that time. Josh, who took our order, was fantastic. We had trouble finding the place and called for directions, only to realize we were already in the parking lot in front of Fix Feed. If you're not paying attention, you might miss it. Josh went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience as first-time customers traveling from Dallas to Arkadelphia. We are looking forward to when David Slaughter opens the restaurant with AC. Can't wait for our next trip to Arkadelphia, see you then! Yum!

I had to travel to the Ford dealer in Sulphur Springs around noon and was delighted to stumble upon Slaughter's BBQ. After reading about it in Texas Monthly, we decided to give it a try. We sampled all three sauces - original, sweet tangy, and spicy - and found them all to be delicious. The crawfish cornbread and beans were a satisfying meal on their own, and we finished off with a scrumptious banana pudding. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent.
