Weinstube Kochenbas - Stuttgart

Typical restaurant with local food, wide wine list and good beers. Excellent atmosphere and delicious svevian dishes, absolutely recommended!

Very authentic swabian restaurant like it should be (I am swabian). Looks like a living room, very narrow. Good food.

This is not a touristy place and the better for it. We went for Sunday lunch with some German friends, who described the experience as 'Gutburgerlich ', which in my language seems to mean good, modestly priced, tasty, homely food. If you want to feel you...are really in Germany eat here. It feels like a cosy home. The Pils is excellent as are the local wines and the meals are delicious. We had braised steak and schnitzel, with noodles and sauted potatoes. It 's the German version of the great British Sunday roast like your mum used to do. Marvellous stuff!!

The Swabian cuisine is super tasty, the facility could be a little fresher. the service is flott, the prices might be a little cheaper

I know the boiling for 45 years. so the pre-owner woman rescuemaier was already cult and great! definitely there are more beautiful dressed dips, there are definitely clever services and the dishes were already cheaper - but the weinstube belongs to stuttgart and that is also good! Whether in summer or winter the local is always well visited. it sprays charm from the "good old time". when you look right, you can also see old stuttgarters who still rent in the hip lehenviertel or can afford themselves.
