Strathmore Bagels - Stony Brook

Good bagels, but get them to go. Had ordered an egg sandwich and normally if you don't specify how you want them cooked, they are fried but not here scrambled . I got it with just pepper but the sandwich was very salty, Bacon tasted salty as well. Inedible for me. So much for stopping here on my way to work. The coffee here is terrible as well, watered down and no taste. You would think they would sell better coffee !!

Wait all day for someone to take your order, let alone the 20 minute wait for eggs... Eggs... it's almost like hiring a bunch of high school kids and retirees with no management isn't the best idea... Then again every location is like this so I'm not sure what I expected.

I’ve never had a bad sandwhich here— ever. The ladies that work at this location are absolutely the sweetest and always make my day whenever I come in.

Friendly staff always, never disappointed with what I order. The Iced tea is my favorite

Seems like they may have lost some of their long-time staff but the bagels are great and the service is good, lots of great lunch and breakfast options. Would give it five stars but the way can be long sometimes, which is actually the sign of a good bagel store.
