Fresh Horizons

Fresh Horizons catered our wedding the other evening and the food was fantastic! We had Spinach Artichoke Crostini Fresh Vegetable Crudite for appetizers. Our buffet included Mixed Greens Salad, Chicken Piccata, Herb Roasted New Potatoes, Summer Squash Sautee plus butter and dinner rolls. I was told by many guests that the food tasted great. Quite a few went back for seconds. Oh and to my surprise we had homemade lemonade available, it was the best lemonade I've ever had! Thank you so very much for being a part of our special day!

Like another reviewer wrote, DO NOT BOOK THIS VENDOR!!! There's a reason the owner of this business is a terrible person...it runs in the family: . The article in the aforementioned link and what I've written below outline the terrible business practices of the Hasslochers. Caryn Hasslocher, owner, and Melanie Planas, event coordinator, were terrible to work with. Early on in the event planning, Melanie was extremely pushy with me about getting my family, bridal party, and myself to purchase nail stickers from here. She even had me follow her side hustle on Instagram at our initial meeting. Due to COVID-19, my fiance and I had to reduce our guest list so we remained at the 25% capacity rule set forth by Governor Abbott. Melanie, who was very hands-on until COVID-19, was nowhere to be found. Melanie refused to answer my e-mails, calls, or texts. (Maybe because I did not buy her tacky nail stickers?! So, I was left to work with Caryn. After several attempts to reach Caryn on the phone, I was finally able to speak with her and I informed her that the wedding and engagement had been called off. She told me that we could reschedule for a later date in 2020 but 1 we had to pick a date in 2020, 2 if we picked a date that was not suitable for their schedule they would keep all of my money, and 3 we could not choose a date beyond 12/31/2020. I told her that the date was not the issue, but rather that I was no longer getting married. She told me during that call that I was lying about my relationship status so I could try to get a partial refund. Who lies about cancelling a wedding and planning a life with someone?! She immediately told me she had it on good authority that my wedding and engagement was still on, but for a different date in a different city and with a different caterer. None of this that she claimed was true. She sent an e-mail to my ex-fiance, which was more lies. She stated in her e-mail that I was un-reachable by phone, yet I never had a single missed call or voicemail from her, her rude secretary, or Melanie. She claimed that she and her staff met with me at the venue to go over tables, buffet lines, etc., which was time and money taken away from them just for me to book a different caterer. I never once met with anyone from Fresh Horizons at the venue. To avoid heartache and headaches I advise booking another catering service, one that will prove to be worth the time and money invested.

We used Fresh Horizons Creative Catering for our Thanksgiving resident event and it couldn't have more amazing! They had our food ready for us on a Sunday, everything was adorably packaged with menu cards and instructions! The turkey was anything but dry and extremely delicious.. in fact EVERYTHING they provided was supreme! 10/10 would definitely use their services again and again!

GREAT SERVICE!!!! AND FOOD!!!!! WOW!!!! totally blown away the food was incredible staff went above and beyond expectations just like alex below they know how to throw a party.
