Beechmoor Lounge - Stone Lake

UPDATE 7/2020: Visits in summer 2019 and again in July 2020. Excellent food and service both times. The cake is a MUST!!! Homemade. Delicious pizza with very generous toppings. I loved the big pieces of sausage when the typical sausage crumbles. My mother had the reubs and found it pretty delectable. Very big. The curly Pommes had no salt and that was perfect for my mother. If you prefer salt, you may need to add yourself. The cake is homemade! I had the coconut cream and wow! It was a big piece of heaven with a bunch of roasted coconut on the cream. It was so divine that we ordered the strawberry cheesecake to eat tomorrow. I didn't think to get pictures of the food when it was served because I expected nothing but normal good food. But when I ate it, I wish I had taken pictures to share better how good it was. I took a photo from the left pizza to show how generous the toppings were. There were outdoor seats on a deck overlooking Whitefish Lake, but we were digging inside. The dining room has two tables ready for six diners, and three tables ready for four. They look like they could easily be relocated for different configurations. There is a pool table, dart board and bar. The waiter we had was a friendly young man. We'll be back safely. I came back with my husband at the beginning of September. We ordered the appetizer Spinach Artichoke Dip with Bruchetta and Corn Chips. They roast their own chips and they were delicious. Again, low or no salt, I like it. So you may need to add salt. I ordered the salad bar as a supplement. The salad was iceberg and it looked like they chopped it themselves. It was very fresh and crisp and had a few floor plans and dressings. We ordered the pizza, half with pepperoni, half with sausage and all with mushroom and onion. I was glad to see that the pizza again had very generous amounts of discounts. The plates were warned. Nice touch. For dessert we had the Caramel apple cheesecake Pie. The generous size of the disc was not disappointed. And the taste....all the flavors of homemade cakes, but the apples were the topping on a cake shaped cheesecake in a sweet, biscuit crust. Walnuts have been added as a perfect shrimp. The owner stopped at our table. She was also the cook. We let them know how good the food was.

The food has always been great here. Never a bad meal in 30 years!! A word to the wise. Just call your order in to some of the friendliest staff in the northland, or dine in! Seriously this place has it all great food, awesome drinks, and dedicated caring staff. Oh hey the owners are amazing too. This is the place to get your food for sure.

I was here a few weeks ago on a beautiful autumn day. I sat on the back deck and had one of the best pizzas I ever had! It was a perfect place to eat, have a beer and relax in front of the lake. Everyone was kind and I am happy to go back!

This place has a cozy feeling with lake view, friendly staff and AMAZING food! Do not leave without some of the homemade cakes!!

My mother and wife and I enjoyed dinner on the deck overlooking Whitefish Lake as the sun set. The service was great and the food was delicious. Ready dinner just before the mosquitoes wanted us to dinner. Great location, excellent food and especially a very great staff. We'll be back.
