Salisbury House (steinbach)

Food is really good. Menu options are great so much variety! And I love that you can eat breakfast anytime all day. The service however is debatable. Great waitresses, but the wait time for food can be really long. We've only ever been there in the evening. Once it was great but twice it's been unusually long. (Like longer than most other sit down restaurants it's not like I'm expecting it to be a fast food joint. And when you're with little kids, the wait can feel so much worse. (We've had long wait times both with without our kids . Yet we keep going back because the food is so good.

This restaurant is only 2 years old. has very nice staff. nice clean business. not too busy for the time of the day where we were there. eating was great and was the tyler dessert we had

Amazing breakfast! the breakfast menu is really good here. After I spent 6 months in steinbach, today was the first time I was really impressed by a restaurant. there were these really nice and happy dame called tresa who took care of us and I can't say how better we felt after leaving the restaurant. if they want to show the real Canadian hospitable, they go here when tresa is around. really home. and tresas' happier vibe made my day! I must also point out that the younger waiters did not even smile: an evening meal was also a catastrophe. not even served the dinge that should come with dinner..like drinks.like a young waitress who was not interested at all. they know the names. but not here.

The service was great, the food was not. I ordered 3 appetizers as well as a meal for each of us at our table. The server had to keep apologizing because none of the items we wanted were in stock. Most of the appetizers arrived room temperature (or colder) and around the same time as the rest of the food. Also closing at 3pm is something I can't wrap my head around. None of the other Salisbury locations seem to be doing this at least none of the Winnipeg restaurants I have visited.
