Rubys Ice Cream - Steelville

It is my husbands birthday today. He loves root beer floats. I promised that we would stop for one, even though we just ate and he got a huge piece of gooey butter cake. I ordered a turtle sundae. I ask what the price would be for a small one. She said 4.99. My receipt said $6.99 and $2.00 for pecans. I asked the girl why they charged me 6.99 and 2$ more. Turtle sundaes come with pecans. She was rude and said I can’t control the prices. I stood there for another 5 minutes and had to ask for the root beer float. It barely had any root beer in it. So I paid $13.46 for a small sundae with nuts and a root beer float with only a splash of root beer! We won’t be back.

We very much enjoyed our visit to this restaurant. They did have amazing root beer floats, outstanding customer service, and the rest of our food was excellent as well.

The ice cream was amazing! the young man working was super nice and helpful. definitely posted pics on fb and will go back!

The ice cream was absolutely delicious! and the lady behind the counter was so friendly! we're not natives to the area, but everytime we pass through, we'll definitely be stopping by
