Valiano Pizza Cafe - Staten Island

So glad that they are back in business! Delafield Pizza used to be up the block from my home on Delafield Avenue, until a building code violation forced them out of the space. Recently found them while visiting a friend and now I drive past numerous pizzerias to get my fix. Pizza is really good and their sauce is delicious, light and sweet. Also one of the few places on Staten Island, and NYC for that matter, where you can get zeppoles! I will not purchase Zeppoles from any place else at this point. The.Delafield Pizza zeppoles are delicious, light, fluffy and have just the right amount of confectioners sugar. Family owned and run... nothing fancy, just good, quality ingredients that are always served fresh!

I recently tried a slice of pizza at this restaurant and it was excellent! At first, I was skeptical when I saw that it had received a 5-star review - I thought maybe the owner had rated it themselves. However, the review was accurate! The pizza had a generous amount of sauce and cheese, with exceptionally tasty sauce that could be bottled and sold. The cheese was also very flavorful. The crust was chewy and tasty, with just the right thickness to hold the toppings. Although the slice was a bit small, it only cost $2.50. Overall, I would give this pizza a rating of 96 out of 100.

I highly recommend this pizzeria, it is the best in the area. The restaurant is clean, the service is great, and the staff are wonderful.

This pizza is outstanding! When I saw the 5-star rating, my initial reaction was, who rated it? The owner? This review turned out to be accurate. The owner mentioned that they recently opened, which explains the generous amount of sauce and cheese on the pizza. The sauce is extraordinarily tasty (you could bottle and sell it) and the cheese is delicious. The crust is crispy and thick enough to support the toppings. The pizza is slightly small, but for only $2.50, it's a steal. I would give it a 96 out of 100.

I ordered a pie and a chicken roll. It was freshly made and tasted delicious.
