The shrimp fajita quesadilla was delicious, tasty guacamole and tasted fresh. However it should've been a bit crispy. Watermelon margarita was okay and the chicken burrito was nothing special.
Finally hit this Mexican taco restaurant after passing it for the last 6 to 8 years ..... what can I say we were always booking back home to Brooklyn... traffic lol !!! Always noticed that this place was packed on a Friday Saturday night, we always looked in through the window.... It's was Tuesday 3/19/19 around 3:30pm we just finished running errands so we decided to give this place a go .... Of course we had this place to our self's; we were greeted with smiles very friendly servers........... Great music playing which takes you on a vacation when dining here ..... Fresh warm nachos served with homemade salsa ... Then we order a small side of home made guacamole with of course I save some to top my steak tacos.... My steak tacos were off the chain delicious very authentic tasting loved their green sauce !!! The wife went with their chicken fajita which she loved; both plates served with Mexican rice along with re-fried beans .... I tried the wife's chicken which was on the money !!! Desert we went with the fried vanilla ice cream !!! Omg also delicious!!! No disappoints here everything we had was spot on .... we have a lot of family on this island so we are going to do our best to get them to eat over here .... Much thanks to Arturo our server Syliva for a fantastic food experience.... we will be back again with friends family .... Also, we like to offer our condolences to this owner's family staff !!!! Keep making him proud .....
Been to this restaurant several times now. It is very small so sometimes it can have a wait. I don't we have ever had to wait more than 30 minutes to be seated though. The service we have always received has been excellent! We enjoy coming here and will continue to keep returning. My go to meal is the pork quesadilla. With the sweetness it makes it so delicious. Can never go wrong! I have also had the burritos and tacos which are really good as well! The sangria is really good! Definitely a great place to grab dinner and drinks with friends! Parking isn't great but isn't horrible, try doing the street parking on the street right there. Is always our best bet!
Place is good and pretty much the only game in town for Mexican mid island unless you want to get tacos from planet wings or something like that. Drinks are good and nice selection of margaritas. The guacamole is good. As for the dinners I've had hits and misses. Last week I did the skirt steak on a Mexican corn bread with rice and beans it was pretty good but could have ahead a bigger piece of steak. 3 bites and it was done lol My wife did the bull dog margarita she liked it. And did a burrito she liked it and finished it All in all ok and descent some times could be better.
Came on a Monday afternoon for lunch. Pretty empty, not surprising for a Monday. They told us (party of 3) to sit wherever we want. The place seems clean, seats a good amount of people. Not your traditional Mexican taco joint, closer to Tex mex to me. They have lunch specials which is nice. I go the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla salad. This was surprising. It was a chicken and bacon bits quesadilla on top of a bed of mixed greens. Ranch was on the side. Very filling, definitely enjoyed it, but wasn't the best. But worth the money. My friends ordered burrito bowls, these came in a tortilla shell bowl.. ? My friend said the steak one was pretty good. We also ordered a medium sized guacamole, a pretty big portion. Looked much bigger than the small we saw from a table afar. The chips to guacamole ratio was definitely off, def not a lot of chips. But we took the ones from the ones that came with salsa when we sat down. The salsa kind of tastes like marinara which was interesting. All in all not a bad place, but I think there are better places for Mexican.
