Tan's Garden Chinese - Staffordville

This place is not only rude but filthy. First they couldn’t make up their mind about delivery. The guy wasn’t sure so he passes the phone to the lady. She said we had to pick it up or do DoorDash. Our food was so spoiled we spit it out. I called for a refund and the lady said I had to bring the food back in so she could physically see it. She only refunded a portion of the amount. The restaurant was filled with cribs, food all over the tables, pillows on booths that were put together like a bed. Overall disgusting.

Customer service is a bit abrupt and rude. Food wasn't horrible, but it's skimpy and I was overcharged. Had to rectify with grubhub.

I'll order from a place a few times before I write a review. I'm sick of the attitude I get from these people. If you ask for extra duck sauce, they give you a single extra pack. When you ask for hot oil, they have the guts to charge you. It'd 18 dollars for me meal and I'm being charged 31 to deliver it thru Doordash, can I at least get some extra duck sauce. Never heard of a place that charges for hot oil either.

Worst Chinese food I have tasted. Ordered 3 meals and one appetizer. We all threw our food out. Not appetizing at all. We all ordered 3 different types of chicken dishes along with fried dumplings… the fried dumplings did not look like any dumplings I have ever had and the flavor was bland and “off”. The three main dishes also had a very strange taste .

Food was eh eh edible I ordered online and paid by CrCd in person. I called when I got back home 30: mins away) they forgot 1 item $6.50) and asked for refund. She screamed at me and said NO REFUND COME GET IT and slammed down phone. Really? So much for customer satisfaction. Not worth the drive off LBI. Find another place.
