Lovely lager, friendly staff, excellent home cooked food representing brilliant value for money.

Had a small wake here after a family funeral. Food was great sandwiches, chips, pork pies, quiche, home made cake, tea and coffee. Great staff, great refurb pub. Would not hesitate to use this as a venue again.

Wow what can i say, heard the rumours about the pie being brilliant but this was something else, lashing of meat filled gravy and as much bread and butter as you can handle. This was special by far the best pie we 6 as a family have ever had book it early or you'll miss out. Hats off to the chef. Only way to describe it was outstanding 5

Pie night a must!! Very, very nice and very ,very full. You will not get a better pie in all of Staffordshire moorland.
