The best pupusas and tacos in town! This place is a definite must-visit whenever you're in Stafford. The staff is friendly, and the owner is incredibly kind. She goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great experience.

This is a fantastic little market and deli. I stopped by to grab some tomatillos and was delighted to find the freshest avocados around, along with a wonderful selection of carrots, tomatoes, jalapeños, and other fresh vegetables. I also tried their atole, a delicious sweet corn drink, and ended up bringing home a large cup of it. It was so tasty and a perfect way to warm up on a chilly evening. They have a wide variety of Latino snacks, specialty items, spices, and other foods. My experience was so enjoyable that I can’t wait to go back. Just a heads up, there’s a $10 minimum for credit or debit card purchases. I’ll be sure to update my review after my next visit to try more of their prepared dishes.

Chicas has been sold and is now operating under the name Gloria Luz. Unfortunately, the food was just average and not worth a special visit. I sampled a few items that were recommended from the old Chicas menu. The carne asada tacos were okay, but the meat didn’t have a very fresh taste. The quesadilla was rather unremarkable. There may be better choices on the menu, but I won’t be going back to discover them.

I've been visiting this spot for about six months now. It's somewhat tucked away in a plaza that’s easy to overlook, located alongside Sam's Pizza and Stafford Wings. While it leans more towards being a market than a traditional restaurant, I can confidently say it serves the best and most authentic Mexican food in Stafford. As a California native, I've been on the lookout for a place like this since I moved here nearly six years ago. Do yourself a favor: stop by, grab some tacos or a burrito, or opt for the carne asada plate, and you'll want to keep coming back. It's important to support this local gem!
