Ol’ Henrys - St. Louis

I wanted to see the menu, but there were no prices listed. I ordered six chicken wings, which the staff told me came with two sides and cornbread. I ended up ordering an additional side, and I was shocked when she quoted my total as $25. I felt like I was being charged for two meals. My father and I spent a total of $50, and we both ordered the same thing. I had checked the menu online, where it showed 6 smoked wings for $12 on one website and $16 on another, yet I was charged $25. The food itself was disappointing. My chicken was undercooked and had a pink hue inside. The coleslaw was barely seasoned—just a few flakes of parsley. Is that what they consider soul food? I also ordered sweet potatoes, but they were a complete disaster; they lacked cinnamon, vanilla, or nutmeg. I plan to ask for a full refund and will be reaching out to consumer advocacy groups and the Better Business Bureau. There were no prices displayed, and we were never given a receipt. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had, and I intend to discuss this with the owner and share my experience with my network. This restaurant should be shut down. The food was dreadful, the pricing was a guessing game, and the service was terrible. The staff seemed unaware of what they were selling or the prices. I will never return, nor will I recommend this place to anyone. It was a total waste of money.

The food is absolutely delicious at Ol' Henry Restaurant located off Airport Road. Be sure not to miss the desserts!

Delicious food. I had chicken and fried cabaret friendly and welcoming atmosphere. the highlight could have been danial. she made sure everyone got everything they needed.

So I've been to O'Henry's a few times and everytime is good. Their food is good, which I will give a 9 out of 10, and that's not because it isn't good, it's because the only thing that's better than their food is their customer service. Their patience, kindness and serving nature really shocked me. I don't even live near here but this experience makes me want to make the hour drive back here. Thank you Ol Henrys!
