I was totally impressed with every aspect of our dining experience. We loved the new bar design, the cool atmosphere, the spacing of the tables, the food and drinks were top notch and most of all the service was spot on. Chef Peter came out and introduced himself. He and our server Janelle took great care of us. I could not say enough about them. They also had a large number of support staff that was on their game all night. I work across the street at the Moss-Norris Funeral Home, and I would definitely recommend Mia Modo for family luncheons. Keep up the great job. We will be back soon.
Mio Modo is awesome and we are here weekly!! Great food, atmosphere and staff! Very accommodating and friendly. Sergio knows everyone by name and works the restaurant to assure everyone has a wonderful experience. Wine list is excellent too! Gotta check it out.
Amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere still embodies the Italian fine dining experience Francescas was known for. Will definitely be back to continue a tour of the new menu. Love that they still kept many Francescas favorite dishes as well.
Overall, great experience! Staff was super attentive. Literally, we had 5 different staff wait on my friend and I. We had the hostess, bus boy, waiter, food server, and table side mozzarella maker. All were very kind, talkative, and knowledgeable. The restaurant was recently redone so it looks completely different love it! My only complaints are how tight our high rise booth/chair combo was. Im 5’4” so I had to hop up onto my seat. Felt taller than a usual high rise. Then, it was extremely loud. Loud music, loud talkers, dishes clanking like crazy… I suppose that is more normalized nowadays, but still quite too loud that I could hardly hear my friend. Food was delicious! Highly recommend the table side mozzarella with the Sicilian olive oil, the Milanese chicken dish, and the bottle of moscato for the table. Will definitely come back during an off hour.
Good Evening, We had dinner with you last Saturday, and while I don’t want to be “that guy,” but I think you should consider getting the sewer problem fixed before seating anyone in the back of the restaurant. That really is a health department concern as well. While the quality of our food was great, our waitress seemed to be overworked (which didn’t hinder me giving her an almost 30% tip on a 200.00+ bill), we were very disappointed that we had to sit and smell a sewer through an entire meal. I don’t hold our waitress or the other staff accountable, but I do hold the management and the establishment accountable. I also feel that the bartenders should be more experienced in making whatever drink comes their way. I don’t want to share what drink that was as not to draw attention to myself, but it was an easy and common one. Another shortcoming. I can’t honestly say we’ll return soon. I hope you look into these as constructive criticism. Thank you.
