Forgotten Tonic - St. Augustine

Great vibes, friendly staff delicious tasteful dishes. Recommended reservations (we were lucky enough to get a place in the bar at 6 pm on Friday). Loved the fried green tomatoes and their take egg rolls as apps. Chose pasta primavera as the main (delicious! Selected the non-meat addition). Also solid craft cocktails enjoyed their bees knees.

What a neat part of St Augustine. Beautiful side street most walk by and never venture into the European type setting. Gorgeous landscape and street seating to enjoy the outdoors. The inside is equally intriguing. Wood and mirrors at the bar where you can getting a perfectly made Old Fashioned and a Spanish wine rich in flavor. Once seated the server will be young but delightful and friendly. The baked bread ? is amazing and the oil spiced perfectly Shrimp and grits are creamy and spiced perfectly without the peppers. Green salad and vinaigrette refreshing with a meatball appetizer that was creamy and velvety in texture. The vanilla ice cream with blackberry and strawberry topping is an amazing way to end a very wonderful meal. Oh but wait?grand moniea brandy is an amazing way to end the perfect meal. Word of Caution ?? knock before you enter the unisex restroom the opposite sex may be using the facility. Lol. Oops ?

My new absolute favorite bar anywhere! Found this hidden gem while walking around St. Augustine. It?s so classy and cool but welcoming. It had a GREAT atmosphere and actually had a great smell when I walked in (interesting for a bar . We got a number of drinks to try (the Key Lime Martini was dangerously delicious! and the two food items we got were out of this world! We had the Truffle Fries and they were a great portion easily large enough for two people to share. And the Brown Butter Cake was drool worthy! Sydney was our amazing bar tender and she was so nice and made our experience even greater!

Great experience! We popped in for a cocktail during happy hour and had a wonderful time. The bartender was really great to talk to, and she was super informative. I had the Saturn cocktail from the Happy Hour menu. It was so good, and I'm kind of amazed it was only $7. We also had a delicious plate of marinated olives. If I lived in St. Augustine I'd be here all the time!

Our group was treated as if we were prominent when we arrived. then our food and drinks were great! our party of six all about the drinks and the service of the time when we forget tonic. this place is a hidden gem! I can't wait to go back!
