Safeway Unity Square

Meh. Alot of stuff here is expired and left on the shelf. Shoppers beware. Check expiry dates. The deli meats are horrible quality and smell bad. Took one bite and tossed out the entire 350 grams of turkey and 200 grams of roast beef because of bad smell.

Store is awesome but the black security at close is a very push and rude loud mouth . I took great offence when he badgered me with 5 min left till close he was VERY abusive LIKE HE WAS TARGETING ME probably cause i was native that 's why. Basically telling me to get out as I was making my way to the till he followed and wouldn 't stop bothering me i even forgot 4 items cause i was so upset and felt threatened wow this guy needs some training. Was gonna target him back one night at close not sure if or when but i would love to be a thorn in his side JUST Cause my life matters. Definitely gonna avoid this store if possible thank you Canadian ssssSafeway out...

For the first time in my life I ate grey chicken tonight. Previously frozen, water logged, watched it steam in the pan rather than fry. Sad to see the decline in quality over the past 5 years in produce, seafood and chicken. Have been shopping here for 25 years.

I love this place, it's right across the street, amazing selection
