I am unable to communicate with them in their language, but I plan to bring a Filipino co-worker with me next time to understand the situation. As a regular customer who visits every morning for work, I consistently receive poor treatment. I have decided to switch coffee shops. They are a bunch of jerks!
The egg sandwiches were mediocre, the hash browns were cold, but the coffee was good. I hoped there would be more English-speaking staff as no one seemed to understand English. It would be beneficial for them to be proficient in the English language before working here.
I have used the drive-thru at this restaurant three times now, and once again my order was incorrect. I asked for tea and received coffee. When I ordered a bagel, I received something else entirely. What is the point of placing an order if the items received are random? I even mentioned my allergy to coffee, yet the mistake was still made. It seems that everyone in St. Albert is aware that this restaurant is known for getting orders wrong. I would recommend trying other restaurants along St. Albert Avenue, as they may be more likely to get your order right.
I had the Chilli, it was not to spicy, served hot, and had a really good taste. This Cilli will not upset your stomach and contains all the usual ingredients of good Chilli. I followed it up with a Apple fritter and a hot chocolate...which were also vey tasty. The service was quick and the people pleasant.
Do not go to this site if you are ever in a rush, they are the slowest of slow people. Drive thru should be a max of 35 sec. but not this place. I have waited in Drive Thru for a freaking coffee for 15min....Got up to the window emplyee apologized for the long delay That the hot chocolate machine broke down and they needed to fix it so the lady that ordered her 4 hot chocolate could receive them, I get that but come one people, ask her to move to a parking stall (like they have done to me, just for a dark roast coffee) and still keep the line moving, could they do that...ummmmh no or even offer a free coffee for the inconvenience...ummmmh no. Just got a SORRY
