Mountain Woman - Squamish

We waited almost an hour today and when we received the fish and chips, there was more batter than fish, the chips were burnt and both fish and the chips tasted extremely greasy. Would not return!

Veggie cheese burger with the works, was excellent. The chowder was creamy and fabulous. The prawns were succulent. Great french fries. Really friendly staf. The sweet dog adopted us and made us feel welcome.

Convenient location right off the sea to sky highway on your way to whistler, easy to pass by though. It’s located in a little shack attached to an old bus. Did not notice any bathrooms. Outside dining was part of why we were glad to stop. Review of the food- where’s the fish?!? Probably the worst fried fish ever- somehow all the fish disappeared. Looked like it was going to be a decent size piece of fish but it was all batter and any little bit of fish seemed to just dissipate. Have never had fish like that. The chowder was decent. The fries were actually really good- they were the best part of the meal. Wouldn’t need to stop here again, I’d probably just keep driving on to Squamish to get a better meal.

We stopped here twice (once on the way to Whistler and then on the way back) and absolutely loved it. I particularly liked their hotdogs and their poutine. My wife had the fish chips both times and the kids really enjoyed the hamburgers and hot dogs.

Really good fish and chips and burgers and well priced! Really delicious and convenient off the highway on the way to Squamish or whistler
