Paizanos - Springhill

Last year, the pizza at this restaurant was outstanding. However, I have to say that this year, it was the worst pizza I have ever tasted. The toppings were minimal, with mostly cheese and very small amounts of other ingredients. The price has increased, but the quality has decreased. I would not recommend it and I have no plans to return. Paying nearly $30 for a large piece of dough covered in cheese, with very few toppings, is not worth it. For instance, I ordered a pizza with green peppers, but there were barely any on most slices.

The staff at this restaurant is friendly and attentive. The pizza was delicious, especially the 1/2 meat and 1/2 veggie combination we ordered. They even provided free dipping sauce and paperboard for outdoor dining, which we took to the nearby park. However, the restaurant could use some upgrades to the floors, counters, seating area, and bathroom. The windows were dirty and the walkway leading to the restaurant was in need of repair. Overall, we ordered our food to go so we did not experience the full dining atmosphere inside. It would greatly benefit from clean floors and an updated interior.

The pizza was tasty, but I found it a bit pricey at $25 for a large one. It didn't have anchovies, but that was actually a positive for me.
