Idle Hour Cafe - Spring Lake

Recently ate here for the first time for breakfast. Open, bright diner which seemed to have a loyal local crowd. Bacon was great, hash browns were nice and crispy and the eggs cooked perfect over easy, my son liked his pancake. Orange juice I’d be certain wasn’t fresh squeezed. I’d give five stars but it wasn’t busy and waitress didn’t check on us after food was dropped off so I couldn’t get water refills for us.

My husband and I went here for breakfast on a Friday morning. It was busy and there was a brief wait but not too long. Service was great as was the food. I ordered the Lil Laker and he ordered the Lil Stuffed Hashbrown. It was a lot of food! We both wondered what a full sized plate held. Everything was perfectly prepared and tasty! The food came out in good time also. I definitely recommend breakfast here.

Have been going here with my family since I was a baby, though it's changed hands and looks over the years it's never let me down.

Excellent Breakfast!!! I enjoy coming here quite a bit. I meet co workers and friends here to catch up on things. Prices are great and the food is excellent. Service is polite as the food comes out in good time. I have never had a bad experience or poor quality of food. I live 20 minutes away and will drive there just to get the great breakfast.

Idle Hour always has the best food! If you're in for breakfast you have to have a couple strips of bacon, it's out of this world. The staff is always very friendly, and the cost is well worth the taste.
