Shipley Do-nuts - Spring Branch

Very disappointed. Had to run by Discount Tire, so thought I'd take a dozen donuts into work to share. A dozen donuts was $12--higher than expected. Drive-thru worker was quick and just friendly enough, but the mixed dozen of donuts were all stale. They tasted at least a day old--icing was dry and cracked. Having a drive-thru was their only redeeming quality. Shipley's has never been my favorite--I grew up on and still LOVE Krispy Kreme--Texas or not. For the 23 years I've lived in Texas, Shipley's donuts have always been pretty good, just not my favorite. Wouldn't waste your time with this one. If you want fresh pastries, pay just a little more and get delicious from-scratch pastries from The Screaming Goat instead. I wish I had.

Ordered s couple kolaches very disappointing. It was primarily bread minimal cheese and a lame hotdog. Go for the donuts instead. Moose Out
