Island Grill - Spring

I had high hopes because of the ratings. The fresh juice and coffees are great. The food is pretty poor. We got a few meals for our family, each one was dry and flavorless. Maybe the dinner is better, otherwise I don’t understand how they got this rating at all.

Came here for dinner and drinks. One word: Amazing! . Loved the drinks, David was awesome and made sure we were taken care of. Would definitely come again :

Island grill is my spot now that I work for Marriott ...David is a great bartender and guest service . My first time at Island Grill I asked what's the best thing on menu . David assisted me with my order and I loved it ....shrimp is my fav and they have the best grilled shrimp I've had here in Houston. I then went back after work for a happy hr drink and didn't know what's best to drink at the middle of day ....David then assisted me with a drink and it was a Peach Bellini ...great guy when it comes to food or drinks and undecided on what to eat or drink ....he's the guy . !!!!! Go to island grill and treat yourself , you won't be disappointed great food and drink specials!!!!!

I love this restaurant so much. Best dishes has got to be the greek salad and the kabob plate!! I’m my opinion, it was a little messy trying to eat everything on top of a quarter cut pita. If you are a messy eater like me, maybe go for the whole gyro so it’s easier to eat with less mess. I think the kabob plate is better than the mediterranean plate because it has more veggies and it’s more moist, but the meats are larger. If you can’t finish a whole plate, definitely share with a friend and just order more pitas, that way there are no leftovers! And I really like the greek salad. Tzatziki sauce and the feta is perfection. Don’t forget free frozen yogurt!! I HIGHLY recommend. If you’ve never eaten here you are missing out!!

Good place for Mediterranean food. Food was fresh flavorful.I felt rice was a bit undercooked than usual.
