Morty's Tap Grille - Spokane

The food here is good. Really good. The service is excellent, and the beer choices are very good. Casual and comfortable here. I highly recommend it.

We live nearby and have tried Morty's two times recently. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable which I appreciate during Spokane's long cold winters. Morty's is a sports bar with televisions everywhere. The service is good and the drinks are very reasonably priced. We ate dinner both times we visited and the food was disappointing. A friend who joined us is vegetarian and the only option is fish and chips. The salads all have meat on them. My hamburger was dry and tasteless and I believe I had a chicken sandwich the next time which was the same. I can't recommend the food but will probably go back to watch a game and see friends.

Went New Years Eve for a quick, late dinner (6ish) before us 40 somethings wanted to head home. Had a couple burgers and they were phenomenal for a wanna be dive bar. This place tries hard to be that south hill dive bar but failed. It is warm and welcoming with great service and great bartenders with a very clean restaurant and bar. Always forget about Morty's but will remember to come back!

3 stars for the delicious food, and the slooooow service. I had to go tell our server we were ready to order almost 15 minutes after I told her we were ready to order. She didn't check back in until our food was ready about 25 minutes later, and I could finally order a cocktail.

My wife and I were invited to meet som friends here on a Monday night. I saw the reviews and was concerned, boy was I glad we went! The service was great! The food was excellent, and, for a sports bar, you could watch the game but still have a conversation. I strongly recommend this place...$3 beers, the steak salad and chicken wrap were great! We look forward to making this outlet go-to place on the South Hill. Much better than Twigs and Poole's.
