Either this location, or door dash, or both, are the dumbest, most incapable people on the planet. This is AT LEAST THE THIRD TIME we have ordered for delivery and only received part of our order. Apparently it is too difficult either for Chipotle employees to make sure the entire order is given to the dasher, or the dasher is of such poor vision that he/she always misses bags of chips, containers or salsa, AND drinks that are part of the order. Hilariously, we are never given refunds, but little strips of paper (keepin’ it professional) saying we have free sides for our next order. However, as was the case AGAIN tonight, we ordered, using the “freebies” from the most recent failure, and- surprise, surprise- didn’t get the items that we only ordered because they were “free” from the last screw-up. So at this point, I’m pretty sure Chipotle owes us about $30-$40 in food we’ve paid for and never received. I will say that the one thing ALL of our bad delivery experiences have in common is DOOR DASH. And as a former Uber driver, I can tell you this food delivery thing isn’t hard. Check the order, make sure you have what’s on the receipt, and go deliver. Not that complicated. I’m beginning to think I’m the idiot, since I haven’t stopped ordering from door dash.
To-go orders are always cold. Used to eat here 2-4 times a week. I just can't eat cold chicken with my burrito bowls anymore. It's dangerous. The food temp is of no concern with the newer employees running this location. If you go inside and get the food it's a bit warmer but still for a restaurant serving hot fresh cooked food they should be keeping this meat at a higher temperature.
I always had quite good experiences at this place. Yesterday evening, however, we have a mobile order at 8:30 o'clock (chipotle closes by 10), 3 of the dishes we ordered with guaac acidic, it was missing. we ordered a total of 5 bowls and they were all gone. we were so stubborn when we came home and saw that our commands were missing so many articles. I understand that if objects are not on camps, they are not in debt. we wished, however, that the workers would have at least told us that they were no longer on guaac, acid creams and salat when we picked up our order so that we were not surprised when we came home. we made the trip back to the load to let them know that we lack a series of toppings. at this time it was when they told us they were not in stock. I asked for a refund of the debt I paid and never received. the manager on the floor told me that he is not in a position to grant me a refund, and I have to contact if I wanted one. he also said that even if I called myself as a company, he could not guarantee that I would receive the refund. I find that very unprofessional and absurd that I was not in a position to receive a refund for the articles I did not receive. they tried to compensate me by saying he could take my name down and I could go back and buy 3 more bowls with guac for free. at this point I was frustrated and just wanted my refund so I could go. I am very disappointed at the way and wise how this was dealt with, because I felt as if I were reasonable with my question just a refund for the additional fees.
Just walked into the Chipolte on newport hwy at 5:25 pm on 3/13/22 and after standing at the cash register for 10 mins to order with employees walking by me ignoring me or talking amongst themselves I left. If the restaurant is only taking drive through orders no one told me. And no- Im not a person who appears to be looking for free food. Havent been to a chipolte for awhile and wont be back
