I've been here a lot of times, tbh food is really great but the service is ALWAYS TERRIBLE. staff are not accommodating. they dont smile nor greet upon entrance, we always had to find our table ourselves. we even had to approach them to order. hospitality 101, "customers come first!" that is very basic. One girl kept talking to her phone while serving our food!! outrageous, right? She didnt even ask what we wanted for drinks as no one gave us a jug of water . I dont like the atmosphere here. Staff are snobbish and not attentive. They need more training regarding work ethic.
Poor service we sat down to be served only one other table there the waiter didn't even great us we waited and waited so i got up only to be told to go sit down i will be there in a minute he seemed to be more interested in setting up a table.Eventually we ordered breakfast it was only basic meal called cornsilog we waited 1 hour and then we just walked away we couldn't wait any longer the table that arrived 15 min after us got served before us the service is very bad
Kubo sisig - the hot plate did not deliver the hot sizzle making the finishing egg runny and didn't leave the grand finale burnt bits in the end that we oh so love to scrape off.Injustice to the sisig dish.Sinigang ng bangus- family serving. Could have used a few more stalks of veggie. Otherwise, nice balance for the mostly guilty pleasure pork dishes in the menu.Sinuglaw - presented on a shallow dish which didn't allow the vinegar to coat the cubed raw fish. So I ended up instructing the staff to pack this away for take out with extra vinegar dressing. At home, I added scallions and a drops of sesame oil to make it palatable.Kare-kare - of the 5 Queensland pinoy resto I have dined in, I like Kubo's kare-kare version. Something about the mix. Again, could have been generous with the veggies.Turon- deep friend with surprise strip of langka. Deep fried though which is not really the best pairing after a heavy pinoy mealHalo-hal - though I didn't get to this part as slow, inattentive service was putting me off towards the end, I spied on other patrons' orders, and I don't think I missed that much.
