Shake Shack - Southlake

My family and I came to the restaurant tonight. We were greeted by Paige, who was excellent. She took our order, personally checked in on us to see if everything was okay, and made sure we were well taken care of. We felt right at home. Paige deserves a big thank you!

However, the shake was just okay - not terrible, but I've had better shakes at nearby burger joints. It was thick but largely melted, and could have used a bit more flavor. The fries were lukewarm and could have used more salt. They were still crispy (thanks to food science), but not hot enough for my liking. I was looking forward to dipping my hot fries into my cold shake, but unfortunately, that didn't happen this time. The burger itself, while cooked well, lacked seasoning. A bit more salt and pepper would have brought out more flavor. I also missed having pickles on the burger, which I know isn't typical for this place, but I found the burger a bit boring without them. Overall, there was nothing truly bad about the experience - just largely average. It wasn't the amazing dining experience I had expected based on the hype, but it was still an enjoyable meal.

I recently went to this restaurant for lunch and had a fantastic experience. The mushroom burger I ordered was amazing! Olivia, our server, was extremely friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Though there was a bit of a wait, the staff made up for it by ensuring our order was correct and being friendly to everyone we saw.

You want a good burger and pommes. our order was a little late, but it was a busy Friday night, so it's not unexpected that it was a bit behind. the food was still fresh and hot when we got it! will come back and also try a few shakes
