Oldhams Of Westcliff - Southend-on-Sea

I found the best fish and chips in Southend. 2 wings of the skate and large chips. Each part was perfect. Clean rooms and friendly staff, that makes it number one choice.

We were taken there for an Xmas treat which included the meal and a pantomime. All our meals were excellent and the service was first rate. My wife polished off all her large cod which is something she rarely does. Well done Oldhams.

Recommended. Moved to Southend and tried a large number of fish and chip shops, none were great, then tried Oldham's and been very happy. Always very good. Food is freshly cooked, the staff always friendly and quick to serve. Clean and 5 star food standards. Go for the double dipped chips if you like them crispier. Good portion sizes.

Really delicious fish and chips and with offers you can still eat for a good price. Oldhams have a number of good options for meals deals, I used their £11.00 deal (24/10/22) and really enjoyed my meal. Parking is very difficult in the area, so expect a few minutes to look for the area.
