Such a fun experience! Small, intimate bar in the basement of another bar with entry through an old refrigerator.

The only fun thing about this experience was sheepishly asking to see the mayor and being led through the fridge to the downstairs The bar is LOUD.

So here's the secret to gaining entrance to TMOSCT: enter The Breakfast Club and tell the host that you'd like to see The Mayor.

The food and drinks at this restaurant were great, but the service was terrible. Our party of 25 people had 3 tables, which we understood, but we were not allowed to move or swap seats to talk to each other. Guests who arrived late were not allowed to sit with us and were sent downstairs to the bar area, which we found unacceptable. We were told each table would receive a separate bill, but then one table's food was added to another, making payment more difficult. The person in charge spoke rudely to our guests when they tried to switch tables, and ultimately combined two tables' bills despite telling us not to swap. We will not be returning to this restaurant due to the uncomfortable experience and rude treatment we received.

We visited East Coast Social for my son's 18th birthday. The staff was warm and friendly, and the food was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
