The Castlebrook Inn - South Somerset

We have been to this pub multiple times now and have been impressed every time. The beer garden is lovely for the summer and the Christmas meal we had was fantastic. The staff is always friendly, and the food is consistently high quality with generous portions at good value. I will definitely be going back!

We had a fantastic family Christmas dinner at this restaurant, with a wide selection of dishes to choose from. The service was top-notch and they offered a great variety of beers and wines, particularly the malbec which was delicious. The prices were very reasonable and the steak night was outstanding.

Wonderful Carvery lunch again, really is one of the best places I have been to lunch, started coming here regular. Went today at 12.00 the place already very full, tables all set out tastefully, with napkins and Xmas crackers. We hadn't booked although Sunday highly recommend booking, we should have, but a table for two was found, staff here very welcoming, and friendly, nothing too much trouble. A lovely happy atmosphere , prettily decorated for Christmas. The staff tell me the Landlord works really hard and does the cooking, well all I can say it shows, and they obviously have a lot of respect for him. Thank Castlebrook for another lovely meal

Not visited the Castlebrook in years , so thought we would give it a visit. Bright we’ll lit pub low beams and cosy fire. We sat in the bar area for lunch ordered our food which we didn’t have to wait for long for. Great value Burgers I had buttermilk chicken burger and a beef burger very tasty , great portion size Log wood burner Friendly Would visit again

Sticky, dirty and smelly place. It’s off putting the minute you walk through the squalid bar. We were so hungry so ordered thinking the food would be good. Omgoodness it was, without doubt THE WORST meal we have ever been served anywhere and we eat out most nights due to our busy lifestyle. If Wetherspoons is a 4/10 this place is a -1/10 !!
