I ordered a tuna panini, which tasted like it had been microwaved. It was £3.95, bland, and there was more bread than filling. The presentation was lacking, just thrown on a plate without a napkin. The coffee was also bad, with no crema and a burnt taste. I understand this is not a fine dining establishment, but basic politeness should be expected. There is no excuse for such poor service. I will not be returning anytime soon.
Came here on a Saturday for a quick lunch in between vising and doing the weekly shop. Had a toastie, a muffin and a latte. All very good and reasonably priced.
Went to breakfast and chose from the Pick your own menu. I chose bacon, poached egg and plum tomatoes, only to be told, We have no plum tomatoes ???????????? Isn 't the shop full of them?????
£6.25 for a breakfast Hard eggs, everything well over cooked or reheated Not even a brew or slice of bread like any other cafe Then sat under the heat lamps for 5/10 minutes before someone brought them over Wasn’t very good
Arrived at 12:55 and found that the restaurant was not serving food due to the kitchen being overwhelmed. Despite waiting for over 25 minutes, I observed 3 meals being served and only 9 out of 25 tables in use, with 5 having meal deals available. Additionally, I am still waiting for my table to be cleared even though the two floor staff members are no longer serving food.
