Parrot Eyes Boat Ramp Marina

This is a fantastic spot for relaxing and enjoying Rocks margaritas. The Swiss mushroom burger and fries were outstanding. I highly recommend trying the Don Julio margaritas!

The restaurant has a charming, pun-inspired name. We stopped by for lunch, but it was rather underwhelming. My husband ordered the blackened fish enchiladas, while I opted for the shrimp salad; both dishes were a bit bland and portion sizes were on the smaller side. The service was decent, but not particularly memorable.

I'm a bartender close by, I was apprehensive about trying this place because I heard about the mediocre food service, but I was pleasantly surprised! Before my shift I decided to give them a try. From the front desk greeting, to pleasant and efficient service and the great food; I can't find a fault. The parrots screeching in the background was fun I'm a big parrot guy, so some my find in annoying ? .. I ordered the beef fajitas, which was really enough for two!! A helper/food runner delivered the food steaming on the plate a HUGE plus for me .. a pleasant experience from start to finish. And the great guacamole is to die for! Good job to all who made my oncoming shift a Little nicer.. they nailed it! I consider this a fun place to visit!

The only issue we encountered was when we spotted some friends and wanted to join their table. The manager started yelling at the waitstaff, instructing them not to allow us to do that, which made the waitstaff visibly embarrassed. We didn’t want to cause a scene, so it was uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the manager seated us at the opposite end of the restaurant, with several open tables in between us and our friends, which I didn’t understand. On a positive note, the waitstaff was friendly, but the manager really needs to improve their people skills.

Plenty of parking. Few tables to sit outside and view water. They also have sign ups for water sports and fishing. Prices are right! No price listings on drink menu but was pleasantly surprised and grateful they were delicious but didn't cost and arm n leg like all other places. Service was good! It was also a very slow day. Food was good too.
