As refugees from the catastrophe which was the Margaritaville Thanksgiving buffet, we were very pleased that they found space for us without a reservation.Wow! Just fabulous in every way. Food quality was over the top. Recipies were traditional but with a flavor flair that was most welcome.Service was impeccable.The view is wonderful.While waiting to pay, I had the opportunity to visit with the manager, Agustin, who manged to communicate joyfully While simultaneously remaining fully apprised of all that was happening in his busy restaurant. He is among the terrific staffing choices made by the owners of this beautiful place.I will admit that we went in without great expectations. Windjammer is the name given to the boisterous buffet at all Royal Caribbean ships. No comparison should be made. This place is near perfection.

We ate here for thanksgiving and it was great. Turkey was moist and the prime rib was amazing.

My wife and I both had the street tacos plate as well as an order of cheese curds. Tacos came with fresh homemade salsa that was perfectly balanced with the meal. The cheese curds were not over cooked, lightly crunchy. The service and atmosphere were very great and friendly.

Advertise their sea food buffet, but there is very limited offerings, under seasoned. Menu items tasted fine, not stellar. The food was not worth the price, there is no question why the dining room was empty.

1st time visit to South Padre Island. First of all, this restaurant is in a hotel. 2 Star hotel at best. If I based my opinion of S.P.I on this place; I'd never come back. Quesadilla served with green peppers when asked to be plain. Asked for a plain cheese burger and got a soggy wet bun plain hamburger. 1/2 dozen of Oysters on the half-shell; death on the half-shell. First oyster I bit into smelled and tasted like poop! They were spoiled....I thought they looked quite flat to be fresh gulf oysters. Spoiled seafood is beyond sickening l...it's deadly. I had to leave. I paid my bill and left. Sorry, beware if you eat here. Found this place on Google and it is not like it's listed on Google.
