Shimmy Shack - South Lyon

Had our first Shimmy experience today, and we will be back often! Had the classic burger (single, hubby had double , with half sweet potato and half regular fries, as well as both of the french fry dipping sauces (shimmy and garlic . The burger was delicious, sloppy, perfect. Great patty, bun, condiments (extra pickles would kick it up a notch for me next time! . The fries were beautiful, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Dipping sauces nummy. I also grabbed a cowgirl cookie but I 've not tried it yet, as I am stuffed! And no animals were harmed from me gorging myself. So glad to have your brick and mortar just down the street from us welcome to the neighborhood, Shimmy Mama!

Amazing food. This was my first time with a whole vegan meal and I was blown away! The classic burgers, sweet potatoes and mustaccioli were a good choice.

Ordered a vegan and gluten-free chocolate birthday cake with peanut butter cream. It was delicious! This is really the place for vegan and gluten-avoiding people to go to really pamper! I also love the funky retro decoration in the diner. The cake was definitely on the pricier side tho (over $40). Nevertheless, I am grateful that there is a 100% delicious vegan and gluten-free place. I wish they had a coffee shop/diner in Ann Arbor!

Sooo good! And how refreshing to order practically everything on the menu, as it is all gluten-free vegan! I had the falafel pita and the chili cheese fries, plus a strawberry jam cookie for desert! Adorables Café, low cost, cruel free goodies and wife owned???? What is not to love!
