Kings Arms - South Lakeland

Popped in here for a couple of drinks while walking in the area. Great friendly welcome and service. Prices for both drinks and food were very reasonable. The place had just opened, so we were the only ones in the place, but we would definitely recommend and we will return next time we are visiting.

The staff were friendly and room was clean. We stayed with a small dog so was in the main house. This was like going into a time warp. The rooms need to be refurbed as they had seen far better days and bed is so uncomfortable. Bathroom needs new bath.

Lovely pub meal out with friends. Good choice on menu and tasty food. Had starters to share and great Cumberland sausage with gravy and vegetables for main meal

We came here for an evening meal was recommended by Travelodge staff where we were staying. Absolutely glad we came was lovely food great atmosphere everyone was so friendly great little village pub will come again next time we are in the area.

Quite run down, we stayed in the barn conversion, fire alarm went at 6.30am, had to evacuate room, stood outside in the cold for over an hour. Nobody from pub came out to help, fire brigade came and were shocked that this was the case, no info on who to contact. Food was nothing to write home about. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights but decided to leave after breakfast. Would not recommend !!!
