Bryson's Tea Room Bakery

The manager at this restaurant was very rude. The tea shop is located upstairs with a sign instructing customers to go up and wait to be served. Despite there being a queue, I was told to go upstairs. Accompanied by a disabled person, I complied and waited upstairs. However, a man approached me and instructed me to wait downstairs. I tried to explain the situation regarding the disabled person in my party, but he was dismissive and told me to go back down. I spoke to a staff member downstairs and requested to speak to the manager. The staff member informed me that the manager was upstairs. It seemed unlikely that I would be able to resolve the issue with him.

My group visited this restaurant on a rainy Saturday in February and we definitely will not be returning. The staff were unfriendly and there were no gluten-free options available for our celiac member. The cakes we tried were not enjoyable; the coffee cake was cold and lacked flavor, while the scone tasted like it had been reheated in the microwave. Overall, we felt that the restaurant was low quality and disappointing. We will not be returning.

We had a good lunch here, very friendly helpful staff. The food was quite pricy but was very nice. I had sandwiches and was slightly disappointed that the bread wasn’t freshly baked at the bakery, it seemed like sliced bread. They need more customer toilets.

Called in late afternoon had some excellent sandwiches and tea and really nice Chucky chips. Would recommend to everyone. Nice seating area upstairs staff very pleasant

This shop has some amazing looking wedding/Birthday cakes in the window. So we decided to go in for afternoon tea. Don't need to book . Unfortunately there idea of afternoon is nip downstairs get big cakes from the left the overs then microwave the...scones to warm the up. Awful done bother. wasted. We should be complained but didn't.
