Waka Dog Cafe - South Bend

I absolutely LOVE going to Waka for lunch! It?s always fresh and quick and the owners Josh and Jenn are the best, always there with a smile! Best part, the HUGE menu, literally something for everyone! Great atmosphere and great daily specials!! Highly recommended!!

Tried the Yankee Dog and The Chicago Dog, both were stellar. The Chicago dog in particular was pretty good, much better than what you'd get at a ballpark for example. I got mine to go, but I liked the vibe inside. Had I not been on the go, I would have likely hung out there to eat. Another note, they have a huge variety of things to choose from... Edit: Second time coming here and I have got to say this is probably the best food place in the area. This time I ordered online and it was nice and easy to do with pretty accurate pick up time. It's a little pricey, but for the quality of food I would say it's worth it.

Service is a little slow but not horrible. The nature of the industry anymore. Really nice folks. Can't beat they're Yankee dogs. Chicago dog was pretty good too. Nice change of pace once in a while.

Very very disappointed in the portion size. I?ve had bigger tenders from kids meals. Received 12 fries with my basket. Very disappointing.

Always a fun treat! The owners have expanded the menu and the food is always fresh and tasty.
