Kettleman's Bagels Somerset

Bagels are great but staff is completely unorganized. I went in for 6 bagels, paying cash. I waited on line for 25 minutes with no one taking new orders. I slowly watched as online and phone orders took every last everything bagel (what i came in for). There were 8 left when I got on line, but zero when I got to the register, none were ordered by in store customers.I should have just pulled my phone out and paid extra ordering online to get service.

Completely unorganized operation, I came in to order two simple bagel sandwiches at 10:25.. waited for 15 minutes whilst watching others’ orders be taken and fulfilled, 15 minutes later, they finally yell my order out, only for the guy on the register get confused, give it to another woman with a large order, and for the girl who had taken my order ask me once again if I’m waiting to order.. I told her no, I already ordered, for her to ask again what my order was to tell me “it’scoming up”.. I walked out after waiting for 25 minutes...

Best bagels bar none. Service was excellent. Very busy for a reason... it's that good. Highly recommended. Nice menu selection.

Early this afternoon I stopped in. The store is not laid out well and if there wasn't a long line you wouldn't be sure where to go. After waiting for 10 minutes was asked by a girl at the deli counter what I would like. I said I simply wanted 8 hard rolls, which I saw behind the counter. She wrote it down and placed the note in what I guessed is the order que. After waiting another 15 minutes to get to the cashier (who definitely has to handle too much of the work) he asked what I ordered. I told him I ordered 8 of the hard rolls that are there. As he went to retrieve them he was stopped by a female staff member who then looked at me and said she can't sell me rolls. I said I gave the order 15 minutes ago and nothing was said and I have purchased rolls here before. I have now been waiting 25 minutes and you NOW tell me you can't sell the rolls. The young man at the register apologized and asked if I wanted bagels, which I did not. The female staff member was nasty to me and definitely had a bad attitude with others as well as I observed during my 25 minute wait. I left empty-handed as a very unhappy former patron. I will definitely not be back. That's too bad because their bagels are good, but not worth the wait and nasty attitude.

I’ve tried to give Kettleman’s an extra try every time I’ve gone because I’ve been disappointed, but the quality just isn’t what it used to be. Bagels are fine, avoid bagel sandwiches at all costs. For a $6-10 sandwich, you’d expect some substance.The other location is much better.
