Ramen Kotori - SOLVANG

Went here with my partner! <3 The service was super fast, the staff were attentive, and the atmosphere was welcoming.The Japanese fried chicken was to die for, the ramen was delicious, and the strawberry boba tasted like like heaven. We also got the Uni $30), and it was such a unique experience that you can't find anywhere else in Solvang.Pricing can be a little steep, but if you're going out for a day in Solvang, you got to expect to lose a fair amount of money!

Broth in pork shoulder ramen is delicious. There are also bamboo shoots seaweed and a soft yolk egg with plenty of ramen and pork. It's two yummy meals for me.

Ramen shop hidden in the streets of Solvang. I got their special oysters and melon-cream soda. Oysters were topped with elderberry and yuzu granita. These were some of the smoothest oysters I've ever had. And the sour/tartness of the yuzu and berry were such a nice compliment to the rich oysters. I love melon cream soda. So this is something I always get if I ever see a place make it. Definitely worth getting if u haven't tried before.

I feel the drinks are overpriced $8 for a canned cider. Only outdoor dinning is optional. Only a 4 5 minute wait for my dish. In out in 20 minutes. Family couple oriented. No bar. No stools. There is nothing 'wowing '. The staff is young, hip, and polite. The food is solid and good.But something is off: something has me walking away feeling unmotivated to return. It could be that its staple food being sold as high dinning; or it could be the ramen experience is only found in the bowl.

This is an outdoor restaurant. Before you get to sit down, you'll have to order food then pay right away. This is a different kind of ramen but is taste so good. The soup base has rich flavoured broth, and it's not salty. I like to drink the broth and It's totally OK to drink the broth from the bowl. It's considered a compliment to how good the broth is.TIP: you have to be there early
