Mccray's Tavern - Smyrna

Service exceptional... visit the other bar from main room when it's open... food was good, their menu has a lot of options. Tried the patty melt, burger was perfectly cooked to temperature at medium... but lacking abundance on the caramelized onions and cheese was only on one side, wish it had been on both sides but overall still tasty and good. Would be nice if they offered better tasting ketchup and bottled mayo (not packets).

McCray's Tavern have become our new favorite place to dine out! It's dog-friendly so we can bring our's to dine (which he enjoys more than staying home alone). The food is great, McCray's hit it out of the park with their Fish Chips. The S S Burger was fresh, juicy, and the Onion rings were huge! The drinks and beer were nice and cold for a warm evening. The bread pudding is absolutely our favorite desert as it comes out on a small skillet nice and hot! The ice cream melts quickly but blends in with the pudding's syrup nicely. We will definately go there a minimum of twice a month for the foreseeable future!

Five stars are not enough! We booked this restaurant for a rehearsal dinner for our son and his beautiful bride. Mary was the director of their hospitality services. She worked with us for a year answering our questions and providing helpful suggestions. The night of the event went so well from setup to dinner to cleanup. She and her staff made us feel so welcome and took great care of us. Everyone attending remarked about having a great time. And the food was amazing! Thank you Mary, and all your folks for making a wonderful evening for us!

I met a friend who came here at McCray's for late lunch. The food was great. We had the chicken wings for example... they were big, full of meat, crispy on the outside and buffalo sauce for perfection. Larger wings than some of the other chains. Besides, a McCrays IPA had very tasty and cheap. Many other beers to choose. McCray is a great place to meet with old friends or bring the family. We sat there for a few hours and had a relaxing atmosphere.

I've updated my review of McCray's. We come here all the time. I love the chopped salad. It's so yummy. My husband always loves his food. It's actually good for the whole family and the wait staff is always so nice and quick , even during Covid times. It's a good bar atmosphere with lots of covered and uncovered outdoor spaces with a really diverse menu. Nice food and bar food.
