To begin, he made sure our booth was suitable. He gave food suggestions. Because it was slow by the time we finished, and because we showed interest, he told the backstory of the place and demonstrated how they prepared the food. The music comfortably played Frank Sinatra over the speaker while we ate. There is a free jukebox with oldies hits in the restaurant too, if one prefers that. The owner said he is looking to get live music on occasion if he can find the right musician. The food is authentic and top-notch. The service has a personal touch, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. We ate around 1:30 pm, on an autumn Saturday. We had the 14 Supremo, the Italian Salad, plus 2 fountain drinks. We also received a small basket of garlic breadsticks. This is honestly one of my top three favorite eating establishments in the metro area, not just pizzerias. 6/5 stars. That is the first 6/5 I have given on Google ratings so far. This place is a charming hidden gem.Parking: The coffee shop in the same strip mall was using up a lot of the parking. I suppose if you waited for a coffee customer to leave, you could get in shortly during busier hours at the Ristorante.Dietary restrictions: They have vegetarian options.
We have been trying every pizza place in town and as of right now (8-2023) this is hands down our favorite.Delicious sourdough crust and sauce, it reminded me of NY pizza and Penny says it tasted like pizza she had in Napoli. The owner is very involved with customer relations as with any nice Italian restaurant. Very friendly atmosphere. And did I mention, the pizza was really good.We will be coming back.
The pizza and calzone we ordered were delicious! We greeted by the owner shortly after ordering, wonderful guy! He also came back after dinner and ask if my son wanted to “test” his new ice cream flavor. Such a great dinner!
Thanks to Donald his staff for a great family dinner. Pizzas with sourdough crust were amazing, Calzone was great (and huge! and the pasta dishes were so flavorful! They made us feel so welcome. We will be back!
There is no good Italian Food in Sioux Falls without going to a pricier spot. Don Napolitano will make you pizza or some Spaghetti and meatballs for $10 and you’ll thank him! Great casual Italian eatery. They also have Spumoni here! This isn’t a rebrand. It’s a whole new place! ??? ? ? ?
